We know rugby is more fun when everyone competes for the same prize and with the only current example of that being the Rugby World Cup it is time to spread the word and embrace the Utrecht Shield which traces winners as a lineal title from the first Women’s International in 1982.

France beat the Netherlands that day in Utrecht and became the first holders of the preciously mythical title.

With your support our mission is to publicise and officially create the Utrecht Shield in the women’s game and our brother The Raeburn Shield which traces winners since 1871 in the men’s game.

As you can see we have selected our French Oak which has been turned into a Shield by a master craftsman. (Oak and Black in Edinburgh who you should visit for awesome wood gifts)

We now need to apply the silverwork which is a significant expense and funding from fans will enable us to do this and more as we build on the fanbase already in place.

Support us with a regular sum and after 1 year of continuous support we will engrave your name on the Utrecht Shield. After that time your subscription will continue as a supporter subscription without engraving unless you cancel it.
